gap the gap before friday, page-9

I am looking to enter some blue blue chips that I think are starting to look like good/reasonable value for a longer term plan. But my question is - is it worth waiting till the end of the day before entering? I see alot of comments about the 'Friday afternoon Dump' (or similiar talk). As I don't follow the market intimately through the day - what are peoples thoughts here. Just seeking some input & fully aware that anything can happen.
