Not expecting a capital raise by Woodside. Our balance sheet is strong and we have capacity to borrow at cheap rates. Don’t get me wrong - I would happily participate in any capital raise as I see more upside than downside risks in the oil price.
Note increased prices in oil are only reflected over time as most of our lng is sold under long term supply agreements. Their is generally a 3 month lag.
At these prices, Scarborough will be hitting FID in the second half of 2021. This could be a big a significant catalyst to the share price.
