Looking forward to the 30th not only will RI supporters have already received their fill, but "clear air" trading can occur the day after. This will help stimie the chance of the oft dodgy trading that can occur in the week between Chrissy & NY. Whether by design or circumstance the extension pushed the deferred trading status through the best part of this period. So what? Well for the most part folk can only buy with accounts with cleared funds ie. no T (+3) settlements.
The double positive "flipside" of this is - thinking about it, those 4M (so far) traded in this period should have been bought from cashed up accounts. Who has $300k laying around as cleared funds in their Brokerage Accounts....
