Agree with your thoughts. Copper futures are down and SPI futures flat at the moment and with the "euphoria" of the AGM subsiding today may see a mall retracement, but this would be a good opportunity to buy.
I don't believe the takover stories at the moment, but I think OZL is a great buy at the moment with very positive upside.
To back up your comments on inflation I have just analyed the effect of the CBA rate increase on Friday on fixed loans and this points to higher inflation (possibly as a result of a credit squeeze caused by govt borrowings).
CBA fixed home loan interest rates are up 0.5% for 2 - 7 year time period and 0.7 % for 10 years and 0.8% for 15 years. Suspect the latter rates reflect long term uncertainty.
