It was a ploy by the buyers to keep all the gapologists out - they will never buy until the gap at 51.5 is filled. Keeping them out keep pressure off the price on the way back up.
The dip might have been Warro associated as Allan suggested, but I thought it was a bit too severe for that - and if it was then I guess the market decided the same in the end anyway.
