i also run both charts..24 hr and a eod chart..
and always note the gaps, as it gives price a target if heading that way.and i find eventually they are filled, even if it takes years sometimes atm though spi will have a lot of resistance at 4663/4672..so unless it can get over that..your gap will have to be left for next time :-)

gaps also have the purpose of being used as a pivot.

gaps i feel should never be overlooked..
