21st May..Craig Emerson.
LABOR hopes a breakthrough free trade agreement to be signed with Malaysia tomorrow - giving Australian companies unprecedented access to Asia's eighth-biggest economy - will provide momentum to negotiations on other bilateral deals across the Pacific region.
Thats todays relationship between Aust and Malaysia..not the reference to Paul Keating.
Investor ill will generated when Lynas Exec Chairman Nick Curtis SOLD OFF A PROSPECTIVE NIOBIUM ASSET TO FORGE GROUP FGE.
1.The asset is called CROWN.(do some research)
2.FGE.........TRY ....FRG..(thats just out and out stupid).
The AELB had requested Lynas satisfy 11 conditions.
Umm..try IAEA handing down 11 conditions of which 9 referred to the AELB.
UMM all 11 conditions met..so were the extra 5..now we wait on 2 more.
By sept (try july) Malay Gov. had called on a review from IAEA AND PUT THE PLANT ON ICE.
Umm the LAMP has been going 24/7..365 days with some 8.5 m hrs nil injuries..LAMP HAS NEVER BEEN PUT ON ICE..Ph 2 full on.
Lynas had the opportunity to halt construction at very early stages..ONCE LOCAL PROTESTS INITIALLY STALLED THE APPROVAL.
That would make it around Sept 2011..when first feed was INITIALLY going to happen.
This writer is suggesting that with LAMP ready to go..they down tools close down the building..Really..the mind boggles.
Blah blah blah..re the waste being returned to aust.
Umm we have all been there.. utilising the waste commercially is not rocket science.
Need i say more.
what is important is that Malaysia imports 100% of gypsum..this is an industry waiting to happen..as its from the totally nil radioactive waste.
Fertilizer (nil radioactive)..with global food concern fertilizers are as valuable as gold.
How many times has lynas said there is money in our waste.
Our writer has jumped on the worst case scenario.
wasnt Nick talking with Barnett WA premier the other day..odds on it was about the Duncan processing plant more likely built in WA...sorry almost forgot LYC also has mentioned that they can granulate the waste which could be returned to OZ...
From there on to the bottom of the article is beyond belief.
Short Lynas ..and Buy Moly.
Absolute garbage.
Does that sum up this garbage or what.
