Sam Mangione is the managing director of Instant Waste Management, Western Australia’s largest privately owned waste business that offers a fully integrated waste management service. Sam co-founded Instant Waste Management in 1989 after successfully establishing and growing two other businesses. He commenced Instant Waste Management with one truck.
Today, the company has a fleet of over 95 trucks, employs close to 100 people and conducts about 3,800 collection jobs per day. With the development of a material recovery facility that processes over 200,000 tons of mixed commercial and industrial waste, Instant Waste Management is setting new standards in recycling efficiency.

rather than chase the big companies or councils chase the contractors who own the trucks ???  ABV need sales desperately to show they are a viable business and can justify scale up of production and get real ecconomies of scale as they just don't seem able or willing to do a deal with a existing player in the marketplace of general trucking and are scared to price it lower as the margin falls off for the specialist oh&s  mining business they have.   The transition has to happen sometime as the mining industry isn't dumb and if they see the same product in the general market at 1/3 the price they will want it as well.
