Hi Megafauna,

Have I missed something by way of recent announcements. I was of the understanding that one of the CETO 5 units was still operational. This was certainly the case at the last round of briefings that happened back in mid to late November. The Melbourne one that I attended being on Thursday 19th and it was clearly stated at that briefing that there whilst two buoys had been retrieved, there were no plans the retrieve the third.

The reason given was that CWE were keen to set long term endurance records for continuous grid connection. The other reason given for keeping on buoy deployed was to continue to collect valuable operational data.

If in fact the third has been retrieved, can you please point me to the appropriate announcement. Thanks
