Thorium is something for 30 years from now. The Indians want Thorium reactors as they have not been blessed with much U domestically but they have heaps of Thorium.
They will be the ones to create Thorium reactors (good old fashioned financial incentive) but they forecast 30 years for the first one.
I don't know what other uses Thorium has, do you know where else it is used?
