Bob Brown regularly says he warned Garrett about that - seems obvious. Garrett obviously has another agenda, best known to himself - maybe concentrate on getting into a position of "power" first then set about changing the world.
The Greens policy statements are largely irrelevant, they can promise anything they want that sounds popular, because Bob Brown will never be PM and have the responsibility of following through on what he says should be done
