    Hi jantimot

    If you read education/neuroscience research you will find
    that these "All these non-learning distractions" are vital for the development of all children. Especially freetime, this is also known as play.
    As a teacher I can tell you that there is too much being taught. Young children and teachers are getting stressed out. I have even banned homework for my 7 year old.
    Why? Because there is NO evidence that homework is of any benefit whatsoever.
    The Australian Curriculum is overloaded.

    We all must rely on the use of critical reason, factual evidence, and scientific methods of inquiry not opinion.
    Sometime an opinion can be correct but most of the time when put to the test they fail.
