Natural gas may be given a life line in EU (to the benefit of Putin gas exports) but UK shale has been killed by Borris Government and Ministers.
BEIS is currently under control by eco warriors green Tory Ministers who also happen to be close family friends of Borris Johnson wife Carrie (my uk friend told me) who is a keen environmental campaigner. So the Green politics are in control of the Tory government policies from the bedroom to the boardroom at the moment.
The current Borris government is playing Net Zero kamikaze with the economy, national security of affordable electricity and future of t he Tory future election. And they dont care coz they are privately personally rich enough to afford expensive energy cost so UlK shale gas is a dead duck I am afraid.
