Your last comment is close to the mark. The Liberals in particular, lost their way a long time ago. They allowed their party to be infiltrated by leftist/green ideology. Then they tried to out left the left, and had their asses handed to them, I don't think that they are capable of learning where their support base is. One exception is Andrew Hastie in WA, he is pushing back hard against this shit.
In relation to Labour and the Greens, all we have to do is believe what they are telling us. Their stated objective is to eliminate Fossil fuels. Zero net emissions, ramping up royalties, price capping, obstructionism in new mine approvals, their intention is to destroy the fossil fuel industry, completely deliberate. They have created an investment environment where coal fired power station owners see no future in maintaining or upgrading their power stations, infact it makes more economic sense to close them down early. Now these F-----g grubs are blaming the war in Ukraine for high power prices. I hope the imbeciles who voted these turds in suffer the most.
