That was Howards way of thinking that it would damage the economy.The Libs had no policy on climate change, one of the reasons that they are in opposition. My question is what is the alternative to coal/oil that is available now and not in 10yrs time. Clean coal technology is still on the drawing board and hasnt been proved.We may not see a major change in policy but I still feel that if the government is to be proactive and being seen to be doing something then a change in the way we power our economy has to happen IMO.
