'Unable to comment' probably is fair comment given our Mon-Tue hol's!!

Just need to know the following, how many metres of 'net' (& gross) porous gas bearing sands they've encountered & how deep was the gas-water contact.

Hypothetical scenario: 20m net (in say, 50m gross sand column with 18-25% porosity & decent reservoir pressured sands). (fill in the key varaibles, i.e, thkness, porosity, pressure)

Remember there r 3 targets at NSc#1, so the final results r better off worth disclosing once they've logged the bottom reservoir.

NO point in telling the story abt the top horizon & ignoring the rest of it. So if its this week or NY, well worth the wait.

Besides, they've said that they r not conducting production tests, so forget abt the flare.

All they need is the reservoir data (post logging) & as that article said abt the final hurdles, re: getting gas onshore etc.

What people need to understand is that NSW gets its gas supply frm a pipeline frm Santos's Moomba facility in SA & the rest comes frm VIC (Geelong & Longford facilities to the South).

They'd b silly to ignore any decent sized resource simply sit insitu offshore Newcastle, IMHO. Surely, they can do a EIS & other relevant studies (as has been done in the NWS by Chevy, WPL etc). But first, we need confirmation of the gas!!

    meanwhile, at the cricket....
