A new report from the ABC discusses the lack of action regarding the export of gas
Gas that belongs to the people of Australia that we could use ourselves has been basically given away for about 70 years
Imagine going into Coles, getting your trolley full and at the checkout they allow you to go through without paying
How long would that be allowed to happen /
The checkout staff would have to explain why, as there would be a reason they did not charge
A/ they want to send the company broke
B/ they were given money privately by the customer
C/ they were simply crazy
So how is it that Australia gives it’s product away, it is no wonder that Australia is one of the worlds largest gas exporters
Norway gets money for it’s oil which has given them free University education for the people, a fully funded retirement system and also they are one of the richest countries in the world
Successive governments and politicians in Australia have allowed? encouraged this to happen, so which of the three reasons above apply here
Where are all those green warriors screaming about this waste of natural product, I previously had a car running on gas but sold it as gas was being removed from service stations
We still have about 50 years of gas left which would see us through until nuclear power was in place
So the question is do the politicians do it for money or are they simply ga ga
