g'day folks,

if blamore had been drilled targeting cbm the share price would be well north of its current level.

it's great that cpt has the potential of an oil leg in its portfolio and it was necessary to drill an oil target sooner rather than later and why not make it the first drill....no complaints here.

but i'm in ctp for the cbm and helium. always have been.

for me, oil in the perdika basin should be the secondary target with cbm the primary.

blamore has proved that this may be the best strategy in order to sell the true story to the market.

helium should wait until a second or third rig is contracted.

ideally i would like ctp to have a simple story to tell rather than confuse the market as to their medium term objectives by alternating their targets on a frequent basis.

so for now, cbm in the perdika should be their primary focus and if it happens to mean there is a chance that there is oil below the coal then it can be drilled during the course of proving up the cbm resource.

keep the message simple and clear.

maybe their intention is to drill all 4 (oil, gas, cbm, helium) prior to creating a longer term work schedule.
