Climate Council ( " charity / not for profit " ) organisation led by Tim Flannery says it is catastrophic for all Australians for gas to be used and it should not be allowed. They demand no new fields opened or infrastructure built. Flannery is currently arguing against extension to Dendrobium mine west of Wollongong. 250 0f 280 written submissions have spoken in favour of application - numbers so very different to Santos Narrabri experience. CTP may have to work much harder than it thought to achieve its goals if Climate Council / Flannery prevail in public forums.
