Looks like the WSGeo got excited, a bit early, called the wrong coring point. Oh well better safe then sorry, as long as the gas-shows that were good to prompt that decision making. H-1 the nearest offset well-log.

IMHO, they've could have cored the Sandpiper Sandstone that sits just above the Frigate shale & then u get the E-Plv formn.

Glad MEO aren't paying the cost of drilling. However if that SSt had shows & is permeable etc etc etc (the usual reservoir variables), then it can b an additional bonus.

So, another core run cometh in my view. This time, in the E-Plv (i hope).
