I remember typing up a very long diatribe about that ill-reported IEA 'gas-glut' comment and how it would be redundant by 2015 (as demand for gas started to accelerate).

The content of that report at the time only really related to short-term supply due to shale gas in the US and only in that market.

I wonder if the same journos, who were drunkenly-slinging that comment around, will run updates in their publications to correct any misconceptions they may have started due to lazy reporting? Those comments were far-reaching, misconstrued and misunderstood for mine.
