Just google "south africa gas cliff" and you will be presented with more than a dozen articles/interviews describing the impending reduction in natural gas distribution by Sasol, as soon as 2026.

I listened/read a few of the hits and discovered that Sasol is using more gas itself to limit the use of coal, as well as the Sasol Mozambique gas fields being depleted, with recent finds not enough to maintain the demand.

I would have thought that there would be an urgent scramble to secure gas from KKO, seeing they are on Sasol's doorstep, but no - this is the ANC south africa - always fast asleep at the wheel - slow crashing into a disaster, just like Eskom and the infrastructure disasters (water supply and sewerage).
