Gas prices as shown by AEMO - spiked in the last few days with hot weather in Adelaide and Melbourne

We know that the PM "spoke to" the gas companies last year reminding them the Feds have export powers - with summer far from over he needs to buzz them again and remind them to keep supplies up and prices down.
On another front of the gas supply issue we have the Santos Narrabri Gas Project which could supply ~half of NSW current requirements. This project is/has been  subject to extensive organised ongoing "lawfare" but a pipeline is planned to bring the Narrabri gas to market. This to is subject to  extensive organised ongoing "lawfare" according to articles I find with google.

I wondered if HC readers have anything to add. Does anybody know if the surveying of the route is proceeding well after near a year?  Or is it mired in landowner obstruction?
