Just recently PM Turnbull has flagged the prospect of building Clean coal power stations like the ones
being built in China, Japan etc...These are supposed to be 40% cleaner than those in existence.....
Of course, this has caused quite a debate...One impediment to coal is lack of private funding with
investors shy over Lib and Labor opposite views and what effect a change of govt. would have on
their investment......
What has emerged in this debate is gas is more acceptable to the govt. parties and thus, gas is seen
as a better way to proceed because it is more likely to get bi-partisan support so investors will become
more interested.....
Recently TSV received circa $10M from Govt.
I am wondering if the wiser heads here with local knowledge can sense any renewed interest
in gas exploration that may increase the chances of Empire interesting farm-in partners?
