gas pipe line

For starters, this is not a ramp and take it with a grain of salt by all means.
Those that have read my posts would be aware that I normally border on the negative anyway.
Hopefully others here will be able to find out what truth there is in the info below:

On a recent field trip north of Perth, a relative of mine got talking to a person involved with the Dampier to Bunbury Gas Pipeline.
It was mentioned that the Warro pipeline was being built, the cut in valves ordered etc and the site of joining the main line clearly selected.
Now what this means is anyones guess:
1)It could be one persons interpretation of the fact that the pipeline licience has been granted. ie was being built as in is going to be built - eventually.
2) It could mean the pipeline operator is doing feasibilities?
3)It could mean that surveyors are out pegging the line already?

I would have though if the surveyers were out we could find out from somewhere?
I think we would all appreciate it if anyone was able to find out any more on this one.
