Looks like Fed Govt will legislate to implement a price cap on gas of $12/gj.
In latest COE presos and revenue models, COE worked on a gas price of $10/gj
At $10/gj COE still makes plenty of money.
Surely what this price cap will do is turn away new development of gas projects.
The Govts just don't get it. Wind and Solar must have certainty of back-up. No gas backup, and the lights go out.
