As i read it its a 12 price cap for uncontracted gas. Didnt we get 27 for uncontracted?
The qld govt has already committed 62b to ensuring gas replaces coal as a peaking capability. The same will happen in VIC IMO.
I see new reserves and pipelines will be needed until hydro / nuclear/ new tech or battery storage is sufficient to meet the stability needs. My guess 10 to 20 years at least
