Exactly what I was saying in the article below. The cap won’t really impact us and if in the odd event it does down the line in a years time we will be reimbursed via compensation payouts from the government (ie us taxpayers). That’s how stupid the entire thing is. This government doesn’t really think ahead, they are just looking for a short term political gain for the short sighted voters. If they were clever they should be adding incentives for Aus producers to supply domestically and invest more in exploration. Unfortunately this entire green obsessed nonsense has got to them!
