    Natural gas futures for Jan 2012 are 5.36 and even then this is totally irrelevant, there has been ZERO volume of futures contracts past Jun 2011.

    Futures are nothing but a prediction and change daily just just dialy spot prices, Looking at the futures market it actually shows anticipated gas price ranges for the next 5 years + of 4-6 dollars.

    Which also happens to be the average price for the last 20-30 years. The commodity spike of 2008 which precipitated the crash was an abberation.
