I don't see COE exporting anything in the long term because the current assets are too small and too far away from export terminals.
Despite this, I think with Europe abandoning Russian gas and opting for US gas in the upcoming years, distribution capacity will be restricted ie large LNG freighters being booked out or operators charging a premium while new fleet orders are complete.
In light of this, I think Squadron Energy building an LNG import terminal at Port Kembla to supply gas in 2024 are going to have to a pay little more to ship LNG than anticipated.
This would be good for COE, hopefully spot prices will climb higher and the gas fields near Melbourne become even more valuable.
