A pipeline from WA should not be necessary IMO. As for the Eastern States, the State of Victoria is a worry, with anti-gas and very green, lefty policies.... and yet they are a progressive populous State, with Melbourne set to become Australia's largest city in a decade or so.
Surely, given the high coast and predicted East Coast shortage, Victoria should get cracking and remove gov't obstacles and restrictions placed on Lakes Oil and others - let's get some discoveries and drilling underway !
For goodness sakes, gas is the cleanest of the fossil fuels and Australia has an abundance of it ! Certainly massively cleaner than the brown coal Victoria has historically burnt for their electricity !
