Iagree that gas is going nowhere much in the Lower 48 this year and probably next. That said, some majors and some financial institutions with l o n g investment horizons are picking gas leases up at firesale prices. Many producers are shutting gas in until prices eventually improve. Some investors also have very long horizons so whether one is a bull and/or a bear depends on investment timeframe.

Substitution for oil and coal will gather pace, new gas fired power stations will be build and heavy transport may shift to LNG (in the face of any sustained oil price spike). Changeovers do however take time.

I agree with paw paw .... we are all running short of time and patience.... unless that promisory note is intended for some sort of crazy pass the parcel round robin exercise involving HK and CHK lol...... but who knows.
