No matter how much bleating & hand wringing we do in Australia we will have no say in how Japan disposes of their surplus contracted supply.
the crux of the issue is that at this point of the cycle renewable supplies are not adequate or cost effective - governments also dont have the finance to be able to subsidise to drive this especially after Covid support measures.
