I am a long term holder from the 20c days. I must admit that I too have been a bit downhearted at the slowdown in general especially the sp.
I took your suggestion, made myself a cuppa and sat there and LISTENED. Yes, it is quite long BUT I came away VERY buoyed by the entire presentation. For those who have not heard it, there is a great presentation by a fund manager on his past and present outlook on LNC as an investment.
I URGE anyone who is invested and a bit down on the company to take the time (with a cuppa) and really listen to what is happening as we speak. This presentation was made on the 4th June, so is VERY current.
I like the section where the presenter says although he cannot recommend this to anyone (due to his position in the co) he knows that both his personal family and friends are certainly buying at these bargain levels.
Make up your own mind. I know I did and hence have bought again this morning!
