I am sad and amazed at the stupidity of not approaching the Commission who do hold sway in the future of the mine years back. Even prior to Tesla deal would have been good to sound them out ?

There are 150 signatures against the mine build now. PLL have only hardened the stance of the local people who will now be quite difficult to please. I'd be naffed off if they rolled in expecting them to bend over and take it.

One point regarding the volume of business coming in to Gaston and value. They said they were happy and had no need to go the extra mile unless it made the community as a whole richer. But they know other businesses are put off coming with extra vibrations to precise tooling and building etc.

I worry that a court case by the locals could drag this way beyond 2024/25 and they said there was no rush too !
We all know the legal system in the US always wants its cut of the real big money.
