From an airline's website - this from a country trying to improve international relations??!! No...wait....who said that??!!! LOL!!

The United States Government has initiated new legislation requiring all airlines to provide the US customs and immigration authorities with access to data held on an airline's reservation system relating to passengers travelling to or from the United States. Consequently, if your journey involves a flight to or from the United States, any information we hold about you and your travel arrangements may be disclosed to the US customs and immigration authorities.

There is also a requirement for all passengers travelling to the United States to provide an address within the U.S. where they will be staying during their visit. Failure to provide an address may result in passengers being refused entry to the U.S. by immigration clearance.
