I have high hopes of Westgold buying up a combined HRN/GML in the future so not sure if this transaction makes this more or less likely.
Still need more water to flow under the bridge it seems....what we do know is that Westgold are in an acquisitive mood and got outbid on another opportunity in the region last week.
At their current valuations I'm very happy to wait patiently as a holder of both HRN and GML.
PS GML always includes HRN tenements in their reports whilst HRN treats them like they don't exist. I think that GML management have approached HRN for the obvious merger and HRN have rejected them. Surely it's in both parties interests to participate in a synergistic merger before they get picked off individually at these low valuations.
