If Bob Brown has lost your vote because of his support for gay marriage and you think that gay marriage is the start of the slippery slope to Islam, then I suspect that Bob Brown would be quite happy not to have your vote. And equating support of gay marriage with Islam is pretty amazing given most muslim fundamentalists would quite happily kill all gay people.
Perhaps if you had a brother or son who was gay, you might be more tolerant to Bob Brown's desire to end discrimination.
