That's fairly restrictive mate. Athiests don't believe in god. They can't get married? Believe it or not, some people are not all man or all woman. Should we deny them as well? Plenty of single fathers and mothers doing a great job raising kids.
Ok, I accept, it's not ideal. It's not a perfect world. Some mothers and fathers are drug addicts, violent, incapable and no doubt, so are some gay couples.

There's nothing stopping completely unsuitable people having and raising children. The evidence is all around us. But, in my opinion, a committed gay couple are just as likely as anyone to raise a child in a loving home. As heterosexuals we can't claim the high moral ground.

One more thing. In some parts of the world they eat insects. I find that particularly unsavoury.
