An atheist is a person who believes that there is insufficient evidence to warrant the belief in a God or Gods. It it not a requirement to rebut a belief that there is primal need for a mother and father to be an atheist.

In my experience there is a wide range of adoption opinions across people from religious and non-religious backgrounds. I think that this is the result of the huge number of scenarios related to adoption that exist in communities.

So please don't put all who disagree with you about the existence or non-existence of a deity in the same basket.
