whereu I initiated this thread as I am tired of hearing how many children have been mistreated by institutions at the same time as glorifying gay marriage and other potential violations of a childs human right. Lack of transparencey regarding the monumental loss of children through abortion each year in Australia is another violation of a childs human rights. 25% of all conceptions. The debate is unbalanced and unmercifully picks on church institutions that have made mistakes in the past but would be sorely missed globally if they withdrew their support in war torn and poverty stricken areas including Australia. The Australian Government relies on them to pick up the shortfall as does the community.
