catlover, this conflict has affected us all for a long time and I also have felt this frustration for 30+years, it always seems to get worse. While I sympathise for Israel and its constant threat from enraged/crazy suicide bombers, I feel to a large part its karma because of the treatment of the Palestinians. Generations on both sides have grown up with hate for the other. Many born and raised on kabutzes cant wait to join the army and kill some arabs, while those born into squaller with no opportunity,see their land in the distance and can not wait to exact revenge. Both sides have these older bearded men with funny hats, who enrage the young but never seem to be part of the action.I think we need to lose these guys. The holy city ,well we cant nuke it so maybe international territory.Entry only to boan fide greenpeace card holders, with no beards or hats allowed. I think with this situation nothing is obvious or what it seems.
