It would probably be good for shareholders of GZL, but for Oroton being taken over by Gazal would be a terrible deal.

IMHO GZL brands are shite and outdated (CK has nowdays fallen almost to the level of store brands)., and they're among most exposed to Amazon's arrival - just compare prices on US amazon for CK and Tommy products. I reckon that Amazon is over-hyped and impact on many retailers will be limited, but GZL will get hit.

Oroton is much better to complete transformation to a luxury brand, than being taken over by someone specialized in cheapos.

I'm watching ORL for some time,but I reckon it still has a long way to fall (below $0.50) before it's worth the punt. There is a real possibility of highly-diluting placement followed by private buy-out, which makes it very risky even at these discounted levels.
