re the "call option"- smells that way.
Twiggy Forrest stood up for the Aussie IO miners recently and issued a warning to the Chinese and RIO finally saw the light and stuck up for the rights (or demands!) of their shareholders and their country's wellbeing by walking away from the Chinalco deal.
GBG board by comparison, has unfortunately given the Chinese majority ownership of GBG's only current real asset.
A bit more foresight on the board's part could have avoided that. Or would it have, ( call option???)
