Frank, your last couple of posts are spot on.

Taking GBG's claimed figures as gospel would be kidding yourself a bit with production pushed so far out now.

It's dreamland counting on figures too much, especially with what is happening in the world today, AND, considering the massive departure that GBG themselves have taken away from their earlier strategies.

As a "wake up call" - to forecasting accuracy- late last year Uncle George was forecasting a 10% price rise in the IO settlements - when analysts in general, were predicting a sharp drop. I said he was off the deep end at the time - and guess what, so far we've ended up with an ‘avg.’ 47% swing away from GJ's forecast. Just a tad out.

Not long after that delirium, when he realised he would be totally wrong, George valiantly came in to bat for the poor Chinese mills by claiming BHP and RIO had put their feet on the neck of the Chinese and ripped their throats out. WOW, brave (and well thought through???) words from an Aussie IO company!

George, displaying that he means what he says (?), then tried to extricate himself from that humongous boo boo by following up with comments to the press that - GBG, other startups and small miners, were "VERY LUCKY TO HAVE" BHP and RIO doing the negotiating on their behalf!
WHAT? Make up your mind George!

And what about right now? Right now, the Chinese have been busy trying to rip his throat out as well as BHP, Vale and RIO's by attempting to gain up to an ambitious 55% cut on last year's settlement prices. That's up to a 65% swing away from George's forecast "10% rise"!

No way as Denial said. Best they will achieve is to give BHP and RIO a close shave!

Fantastic latest news from RIO. Has lit the Aussie market up. GBG struggling to hold on- why some posters have recently queried? Where's the re-rating, the $5 rocket, and the "price up where GBG should be" etc. etc.?

No sales yet and more importantly postponed production have secured an anchor around GBG’s throat for now.
