Kenso, AGO now has the port allocation, around 46mpa I believe, which is through acquisitions. It doesn't have the rail, nor a funding solution at present for it. Although a company its size (2.7 billion) shouldn't have too much problem. It will also need to fund further CAPEX for the mine infrastructure for the larger deposits acquired via GIR as well.
In my opinion AGO did it better, ie started small and ramped up production. It avoided large CAPEX thus risk. GBG got it wrong. The market caps of GBG and AGO say it all: 784million vs 2.7 billion... They have never been so far apart.....
Regardless I think GBG will have more growth potential in the short term at these levels. Hence I'll stay.
