@willial; the tipping point has not changed!

What has changed is that for the first time global average temperatures have exceeded the tipping point for months on end and for the first time.

What comes next will be informative, hopefully we get a reprieve and a chance to better address global CO2 and CH4 emissions before even dramatic responses are too little and too late.
