I think by now we should have all realised, whether we like it or not, that MNM is not a company that doesn't make regular anns, especially of the "warm and fuzzy" kind.
Don't get me wrong - MNM will ann as per ASX rules, but they are not one of those companies that feels the need to hype everything up all the time.
We are all aware that MNM has a small management team doing their best to reserve SH funds and bring projects to fruition. I'd rather that than an ann every week - check out some of the smaller oilers and you will get my drift.
I think that we just need to keep a very close eye on the ann's we do see. Fortunately we have a few sleuths in our midst (Fakie being one) that spot the changes.
Re MtM - I assume the delay could very well be tied up in the detail. I would assume that Calcifer did very little to maintain any associated documentation/processes (which to me seems obvious considering that very little progression was made when in Calcifer's hands) in relation to MtM and MNM could very well be trying to update 4 years of paperwork mismanagement.
Again, considering the court proceedings, it would be imprudent for MNM to ann this re Calcifer's tardiness. Better to just get the house in order and ann the ILUA, etc. when appropriate and formalised.
Re GC - maybe the prospective shears have doubled to 14 km - but is this really worth an ann? Who's to say "there are gold in them there hills?" Maybe the first 600m that were drilled were the most prospective? This doesn't mean that the other km's of shears are as prospective - there may be more gold/silver, there maybe be less.
Any separate ann re stating the shears have gone from 6 km to 14 km would be pure hype (and as we know MNM is not into hype). So why expect an ann?
IK - let us know when the drilling commences at GC (or not) and let us know the results when you have them (good or bad). Now they are the ann's I want to see.
Oh, and make sure you juggle BM, JV, LV, MtM, GC, CT, etc. all at the same time and bring them all to successful completion - no pressure! ;o)
Cheers K
