GCN have not "put out a value on P1".
They have perfectly properly said that Priority One shares are to be issued with a "face value of 30 cents".
What is the real worth of the shares, as opposed to their face value?
We don't know yet.
To this end GCN have, again perfectly properly, said that: "Priority One has advised that it is commissioning an independent valuation of the company which is expected to be completed within the next 4 weeks."
That will give us a second type of value for the shares - the independent valuer's sum divided by the number of shares on issue.
Then there is a third type of value - what people are prepared to pay for the shares once listed.
So all that GCN has said about the value of P1ls shares value refers to face value.
As for face value, on sale on eBay is a Queensland blue stamp with a face value of two pence. Asking price (perhaps the real value) is $3,490.00.
So here's hoping P1's face value turns out to be too low by that proportion.
