It never ceases to amaze me the salaries and incentives these speculative companies pay (Kim on $250 k) and the gifts they grant themselves at AGM time, yet there's hardly an example of a company that demands a responsibility to perform, no employment review process driven by the Board and no repercussions for lack of meeting KPIs. Salary surveys show that 90% of employees earn under $105k. If you're on $250k, you're amongst the privileged few and with that should come demands and responsibilities. I think for far too long the listed company environment has been a haven for lifestyle rather than performance. If IB has any influence, it ought to be focused on culture change - work hard for the money shareholders provide you. This rant is not GCR specific, but the video got me going - so many years for no progress.
